Chapter Membership Information
Membership shall be open to all Honor Society Chapters (grades 10th-12th) and all Junior Honor Society chapters (grades 7th-8th) within Broward County. A Member is defined as any member school which has paid its annual Broward County Honor Society dues. The benefits of being a member of BCHS include:

Steps to Joining BCHSThere are many benefits to joining BCHS, If you are interested in joining the Broward County Chapter of the Honor Society please complete the following steps.

DuesAnnual dues for each member high school chapter and each member middle school the 2021- 2022 school year shall be determined. There is a ten-dollar ($10) late fee for dues paid after November 30 of the present school year. Additionally a member office may not run for an office or vote during the election proceedings at the Broward County Convention unless dues are paid by January 30th.
If you need to pay your annual dues please get in contact with the Treasurer of BCHS (Blanche Ely HS) Stephan Ugwuagu. Dues should be made out to Blanche Ely High School, Honor Society, BCHS Treasurer, 1201 NW 6 Avenue, Pompano Beach, FL 33060. If you are not a member of BCCHS please get in contact with the President of BCHS. |
Individual Membership Information

If you are looking to join your school's honor society please contact your Honor Society's chapter sponsor. All members of BCHS have a county wide policy to give every second semester Sophomore who has an unweighted GPA of 3.0 or better an application to become an honor society member. Some schools might have additional requirements. The role of the Faculty Committee is to confirm that membership applications are complete and accurate and to hear cases of dismissal from Honor Society. This document is an example of what an Honor Society application can look like, many schools have individualized applications unique to their school.
